Alycia Baumgardner Vs. Bo Mi Re Shin Predictions – ‘Upset'

Alycia Baumgardner puts her WBA, WBO, and IBF super featherweight titles on the line against Bo Mi Re Shin, as fans picked their winner.

Baumgardner secured back-to-back dominant performances against Jennifer Miranda and Leila Beaudoin, proving her versatility against both pressure fighters and slicker movers. In a departure from the standard two-minute rounds, Baumgardner and Shin will compete under men’s championship rules: 10 rounds at three minutes each.

Shin’s stock rose significantly in late 2025 when she pushed the highly-touted Caroline Dubois to a razor-thin majority decision. She wasted no time returning to the winner’s circle, capping off her year with a gritty victory over Tywarna Campbell in November 2025.

I believe that a fight with Amanda Serrano and myself in New York City would be one of the biggest fights. “When people talk about ‘what’s next for Alycia?’ It’s not Caroline [Dubois]. It’s Amanda or it’s Katie. I’ll go to Ireland and fight Katie. I don’t care to be the underdog, I’ve done that plenty of times," Baumgardner said

"Baumgardner earns hundreds of millions of won for a single fight. Overseas, even women’s bouts between star fighters can command purses of more than 10 billion won. I want to bring home a world championship belt as soon as possible, make a lot of money and spark another boxing boom in Korea,” she said with a laugh.

"I’m confident in my chin — I’ve never even been knocked down, let alone lost by knockout. I’ll bring home the champion’s belt with my own signature bomb punches. And just like my name, which means ‘born in spring,’ I will usher in the spring of my boxing career," Shin revealed
