Fury Vows To ‘Annihilate' AJ
Tyson Fury has vowed to destroy Anthony Joshua, as he accused the Brit of ducking him.
A fight between the two British rivals has long been talked about ever since Fury overcame Deontay Wilder to win the WBC belt.
However, the current attempts at making it happen have fallen through. Fury’s team had offered Joshua a 60-40 split prior to the Dereck Chisora fight. However, Joshua’s camp felt the deadline being imposed was not realistic.
"I’m not sure why Tyson Fury keeps setting unrealistic deadlines whilst also offering the fight to a number of other heavyweights for the selected date.
"If he is serious about the fight being made, I suggest he allows Matchroom and Queensberry to keep working hard to make the fight, of which everyone has been trying hard to do," Eddie Hearn
In addition, a second offer was made following Joshua’s win over Jermaine Franklin. However, the chances of this happening were unlikely given that ‘AJ’ had only had one fight with his new trainer Derrick James.
Although that may have been the case, Fury has called out Joshua for avoiding the fight.
"I’ve been trying to fight Joshua since 2017 but he’s a little bitch, a p-ssy, so I don’t think you’ll see it. To fight a man like me you’ve got to have big b-llocks, and it you don’t have that, forget about it.
"Because you can’t even enter my world,. I will annihilate that motherf—–. Physically, mentally and emotionally. So he ain’t man enough to fight somebody like me," Fury stated
Possibility
The chances of that fight happening are further away than ever. Joshua is currently facing Dillian Whyte on August 12th, 2023, with the intention of fighting Wilder next in Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, Fury is expected to face Francis Ngannou in what will be a ‘game changer’ fight. Thereafter, the undisputed fight with Oleksandr Usyk will once again come to the fore.
Arguably, this is the biggest fight in British boxing which is why the bout must happen sooner or later to determine who is the best British fighter of this era.
