HBO Max To Air Topuria Docuseries

HBO Max will launch "Los Topuria"—a three-part original docuseries chronicling the rise of UFC double-champion Ilia Topuria. 

Set to premiere on Friday, June 14, 2026, the series serves as a prelude for the UFC Freedom 250, where Topuria will defend his lightweight belt against Justin Gaethje. The docuseries features footage of Topuria’s home life as a father, son, and brother—specifically highlighting the bond with his brother, Alexsandre Topuria, who sacrificed his own career goals to anchor Ilia’s success.

Viewers are invited into the boardroom as Topuria manages his expanding business empire. This includes his strategic stake in the Spanish promotion WOW FC, which recently saw a 400% surge in attendance following an investment from Cristiano Ronaldo.

Spanning three 50-minute episodes, the story tracks his evolution from the career-defining knockout of Alexander Volkanovski to his current status as a two-division champ. HBO Max has also secured exclusive international broadcast rights for the White House card. The series will be available in all territories where HBO Max operates, making it the most widely distributed MMA docuseries in the sport’s history.
