Inoue Outclasses Picasso To Remain Undisputed

Undisputed Super Bantamweight Champ Naoya Inoue dominated David Picasso to retain his titles in a unanimous decision win: 119-109, 120-108 and 117-111.

Inoue arrived into the bout with a victory against Murodjon Akhmadaliev in September via a unanimous decision. The victory halted Inoue’s KO streak as he had racked up 11 in a row prior to the Akhmadaliev fight. As for Picasso, he secured his title shot by beating Kyonosuke Kameda in July to solidify his position as the WBC mandatory. Inoue has been linked with a fight against Junto Nakatani, who beat Sebastian Hernandez in his super bantamweight debut on the same card. After Inoue’s win, that could happen next.
