RAF 8 card updated after Cejudo injury: Tsarukyan vs. Faber
Arman Tsarukyan will face Urijah Faber in the new main event of RAF 8 on Saturday night after Henry Cejudo pulled out with a late injury. The event takes place at Temple University’s Liacouras Center in Philadelphia and airs live on FOX Nation at 8 p.m. ET.
Cejudo was scheduled to rematch Merab Dvalishvili in what was billed as the headliner, per MMA Fighting. When Cejudo withdrew, Dvalishvili also dropped off the card. That pushed the Tsarukyan-Faber matchup into the top spot, pairing the current UFC lightweight contender against the former WEC featherweight champion.

The co-main event features Kyle Snyder against Rizabek Aitmukhan in a championship match at 215 pounds. Other featured bouts include Zahid Valencia vs. Aeoden Sinclair at 190 pounds and Helen Maroulis vs. Alexis Janiak for a title at 130 pounds, according to MMA Mania. Anthony Cassioppi meets Shamil Sharipov at heavyweight.
Early results from the card show Vladimer Khinchegashvili beat Johnni DiJulius 8-5 on points. Lance Palmer edged Cayden Henschel 3-2, Jordan Oliver topped Mike Vanbrill 5-0, and Lucas Byrd defeated Darian Cruz 2-2 on criteria.
Kurt Angle, Chael Sonnen, Cyrus Fees, and Julianna Pena are calling the action from cageside. The full main card also includes Real Woods vs. Anthony Ashnault and Jason Nolf vs. Joey Blaze at 175 and 145 pounds respectively.
