Fury Vs. Ngannou Weigh-In – Here's What Happened
In some boxing news, Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou had their weigh-in as both fighters prepare to face each other on October 28th, 2023.
The bout will be part of Riyadh Season as Fury is expected to mark the event with a win against the former UFC heavyweight champion who has never boxed before. Prior to weigh-in, there were question marks over who would be the heavier fighter.
The particular focus was on Ngannou since the MMA fighter’s tactics will depend on the amount of muscle mass he was carrying. As for Fury, the heavyweight’s appearance has not been an indicator of his performance, as the Gypsy King has shown.
Fury came in at 277.7 pounds, which was an increase of 10 pounds compared to when he fought Dereck Chisora. On the converse, Ngannou weighed 272.1 pounds. Here were the full results of the weigh-in below.
